THE TOOLKIT

SHOULD YOU EVEN START YET?

A 10-question readiness check. Answer honestly — this is for you, not for me.

1.Are you at least 25 years old with 3+ years of natural training?
2.Do you have a full baseline bloodwork panel from the last 90 days?
3.Is your resting blood pressure under 130/85?
4.Are your LDL and ApoB in optimal range?
5.Are ALT, AST, and GGT all in range?
6.Are you getting 7+ hours of quality sleep consistently?
7.Is your life stress manageable right now (work, relationships)?
8.Can you hit your protein and calories consistently for 12 weeks straight?
9.Are you mentally stable — no untreated depression, anxiety, or anger issues?
10.Do you have a doctor or coach who knows what you're doing?

THE BLOODWORK PANEL TEMPLATE

Exactly what to order, and when to draw it. Stop wasting money on incomplete panels.

TIMING

  • Baseline: 8+ weeks fully off everything (including OTC test boosters).
  • Mid-cycle: Week 6–8 of a blast. Draw at trough — right before your next pin, fasted, AM.
  • Post-cycle: 4 weeks after last pin (long esters), or 2 weeks (short esters / orals).
  • Cruise check-in: Every 12 weeks while on TRT or cruise.
  • No training 48h before draw. No sauna, no alcohol, no creatine loading. Fasted 10–12h, water only.

SIDE-EFFECT TROUBLESHOOTING

The stuff you desperately search for and never find explained right.

LIKELY CAUSE

Low estrogen from heavy AI use + harsh androgens (Tren, Mast, Winstrol) drying the joints. Low E2 = no lubrication, no collagen synthesis support.

FIX
  • Pull E2 with sensitive assay — if under 20 pg/mL, back off the AI.
  • Drop Winstrol first. It's the worst joint offender at any meaningful dose.
  • Add 5g collagen + 50mg vit C pre-training. Doesn't fix the hormonal cause but buys time.
  • If joints crunch even with E2 in range, you're under-eating fat. Cutting ≠ zero fat.

SLEEP, STRESS & CORTISOL

The silent killer of results nobody coaches you on.

SLEEP PROTOCOL

  • Hard cutoff on caffeine 10 hours before bed. Half-life is 5–6h.
  • Last meal 3 hours before bed. Carb-heavy, low fat.
  • Bedroom: 65–68°F, blackout, white noise.
  • Magnesium glycinate 400mg + glycine 3g + apigenin 50mg, 45 min before bed.
  • Same bedtime ±30 min, 7 days a week. Weekend drift kills you.
  • No screens last 30 min, or wear blue-blockers from sundown.
  • Wake same time, sunlight in eyes within 10 min.

STRESS PROTOCOL

  • 10 min daily: nasal breathing, 4-7-8 cadence. Non-negotiable.
  • 1 zero-screen meal per day. Eat slow, no phone.
  • Weekly Z2 cardio 3–4x, 30+ min. Lowers baseline cortisol.
  • Sauna 4x/week, 20 min @ 175°F+. Heat shock protein + parasympathetic.
  • Cut alcohol to 0 during a blast. It tanks sleep, jacks cortisol.
  • Audit your inputs: news, social, group chats. Mute the noise.
  • Sunday 30 min: plan the week. Decision fatigue = cortisol.

CORTISOL PROTOCOL

  • Test AM cortisol (7–9 AM) + 4-point salivary if symptoms persist.
  • AM high / PM low = ideal. Flat or reversed = problem.
  • Bright light AM, dim light PM. Anchors the rhythm.
  • Carbs at night (50–100g) blunt nighttime cortisol spikes.
  • Ashwagandha 600mg/day (KSM-66) for 60 days, then reassess.
  • Phosphatidylserine 300mg PM if cortisol stays elevated at night.
  • Cutting too hard? Calories under 1.2g/lb? You're the problem. Eat.
